Iris Ceramica Group comes to Barcelona, in one of the city’s symbolic buildings: “The Garden”, on Avenida Diagonal.
The concept of welcoming guests and the attention to sustainability, deeply rooted in the company’s DNA, underlies the design of this Showroom, developed by the international firm Area-17 Architecture & Interiors.
It is an open, permeable and fluid space, and the large windows looking over the city create continuity between the interior and exterior. The two main functions, office and meeting room, are framed within a single central space in natural wood and glass to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Green, the distinguishing element of The Garden, is also prevailing colour used in the interiors, emphasised by the presence of natural plants offering visitors a feeling of comfort and well-being.
The starring feature, a large, sophisticatedly cooking island designed with close attention to detail, showcases the potential of the Group’s innovative materials.
The Showroom is a multi-purpose space with a contemporary appeal, akin to that of the city of Barcelona, surprising with its versatility and the way the ceramics blend into the environment, with niches, table tops, decorative elements and furnishing complements. An authentic space offering innovative and customised solutions for the community of architecture, design and interior design professionals across Spain.
